Hi, I’m Ashley.
LPC-Associate - Supervised by Dr. Sherry Marasse, Psy. D., LPC-S
I work with people who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or are quietly carrying more than they can manage. Even when things look fine on the outside, the weight of expectations, responsibilities, and past experiences can start to feel overwhelming.
If life feels heavy right now, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Therapy is a place to slow down, sort through what’s been building up, and feel more grounded in yourself.
“You don’t have to keep pushing through.”
Feeling overwhelmed, even if you can’t fully explain why.
Taking care of everyone else while quietly neglecting yourself.
Moving through life changes that feel heavier than you expected.
Craving steadiness, clarity, and space to breathe again.
My Approach
Steady & Grounded
We move at a pace that feels manageable, and focus on what matters most right now.
Collaborative
Open, honest conversations. We work side by side, with no pressure to have it all figured out.
Safe & Supported
A space to feel understood, reconnect with your strengths, and build steadiness from the inside out.
We Might Be a Good Fit If…
You’re feeling overwhelmed and unsure how to move forward.
You tend to take care of everyone else first and push your own needs aside.
Life changes have left you feeling unsteady or stuck.
Your mind doesn’t slow down, and you’re craving more calm and clarity.
You want support that feels steady, collaborative, and safe.
Experience & Training
My background includes work as a social worker and clinical advocate supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, as well as experience in psychiatric inpatient settings working with those in acute mental health crises. I have also provided services in forensic settings, conducted assessments in local jails, and supported individuals navigating substance use and reentry into the community.
These roles have given me a deep understanding of how trauma, crisis, and systemic barriers impact emotional wellbeing. They continue to shape the way I approach therapy, with compassion, steadiness, and respect for the complexity of each person’s story.
I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Grand Canyon University and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from LeTourneau University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate in Texas and practice under the supervision of Dr. Sherry Marasse, Psy. D., LPC-S, receiving ongoing consultation to ensure thoughtful and ethical care.
Beyond credentials, what matters most to me is creating a space where you can slow down, feel steady, and reconnect with yourself.
There Is Space to Slow Down.
If you’ve been stretched thin or running on empty, this can be a space to breathe, feel supported, and take things one step at a time.
