Hi, I’m Christina.
I started Guiding Point Counseling with a deeply held belief: therapy should feel like a refuge, where honesty is welcomed, imperfection is normalized, and you don’t have to perform to be accepted.

“I know what it feels like to be stuck.”
Stuck trying to prove your worth.
Stuck in a job that drains you.
Stuck feeling unseen or unheard in your relationship.
Stuck questioning your own voice.
My Approach
Grounded
Trauma-informed, attachment-focused, relational.
Collaborative
No judgement. No performances. We get curious together.
Human
Therapy should feel like a refuge, not evaluation.
This Work May Be a Good Fit If…
You’re ready to engage, even when you don’t have the perfect words.
You’re willing to explore patterns instead of waiting for them to change on their own.
You value reflection and honest feedback.
You understand that therapy is a collaborative process, not something done to you.
You want depth, not just symptom management.
Experience & Training
I’ve been providing therapy since 2016, working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, attachment wounds, identity shifts, and relational challenges.
My background includes inpatient behavioral health work and over four years at a Children’s Advocacy Center supporting families impacted by trauma.
I hold both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler and am a Licensed Professional Counselor–Supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas.
Beyond credentials, what matters most to me is that you feel safe, understood, and respected throughout your therapy journey.
You Don’t Have to Navigate This Alone.
If you’re ready to explore what’s underneath the patterns, move toward clarity, and do meaningful work in a grounded, collaborative space, I’d be honored to walk with you.
