Hi, I’m Sarah.
I work with people who have been strong for a long time. The ones who keep showing up, pushing through, and holding everything together, even when they’re exhausted.
If you’ve been living in survival mode, you might not even realize how much you’re carrying. Therapy is a space to set some of that weight down.
LPC
“You don’t have to keep holding it all together.”
The one everyone leans on, but no one checks on.
Running on caffeine, willpower and sheer determination.
Carrying trauma, anxiety, or a relationship that feels heavy.
Wondering how long you can keep doing this before something gives.
My Approach
Goal-Oriented
Clear direction. Practical steps. We identify what’s not working and build toward what does.
Collaborative
Direct, honest conversations. We work as a team, with humor, clarity, and no judgment.
Resilient
You’ve survived more than you give yourself credit for. Therapy helps you rediscover that strength.
We Might Be a Good Fit If…
You’re tired of just surviving and ready to actually feel better.
You’re open to honest conversations, even when they’re uncomfortable.
You’re willing to look at patterns instead of blaming yourself for them.
You want practical change, not just a place to vent.
You’re ready to stop being the strong one for everyone else.
Experience & Training
I’ve been providing therapy since 2020, working with individuals, couples, and families navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship strain, and life transitions.
My experience includes work at a local crisis center supporting survivors of both single-incident and ongoing trauma. I also trained at a Denton-based practice under Cyndi Doyle, LPC-S, specializing in mental health support for law enforcement officers and their families.
As a military and LEO spouse myself, I have a deep appreciation for the unique stressors first responders and their families carry. I also have experience incorporating equine-assisted therapy to support healing in adults and at-risk youth.
I earned both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Counseling from The University of Texas at Tyler and am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
Beyond credentials, what matters most to me is that you feel understood, supported, and empowered as you move toward meaningful change.
You Don’t Have to Keep Carrying It Alone.
If you’re tired of being the strong one, running on fumes, and holding everything together for everyone else, therapy can be a place to set some of that weight down.
